Bayshore Park, Harbor View man charged in murder of family member | News

Kingston Eastern police arrested and charged a man last Monday for fatally shooting a family member in his stall.

43-year-old Donovan Griffiths, also known as ‘Andrew’, of Bayshore Park in Harbor View is charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Killed was 58-year-old Dennis Griffiths, also of Bayshore Park.

Police say Griffiths was at his stall about 7.50am when he was attacked by armed men in a car, who shot him several times.

Police were called and upon their arrival, Griffiths was seen in the roadway with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigations led to the arrest of Donovan Griffiths, who was subsequently charged following a question and answer session.

His court hearing is wrapping up.
