Singapore, May 31 (PTI) Rising Indian women’s doubles pair of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand recorded another painful victory as they defeated sixth-seeded South Korean duo Kim So Yeong and Kong Hee Yong in a thrilling battle to advance to the semi-finals finals of Singapore Open here on Friday.

The unseeded Indian duo came from behind to claim an 18-21, 21-19, 24-22 victory in the quarter-final that lasted one hour and 19 minutes.

The Indian duo, ranked number 30 in the world, made up for their defeat against the same opponents at the Asian Games in Hangzhou last year.
