The Kenyan port of Mombasa will receive 45 ships in May 2024

Kenya Port Authority (KPA) has released the port performance outlook for the next 14 days, for the month of May this year 2024. The ships will be received at the Port of Mombasa.

It is reported that the port of Mombasa will handle the 45 ships for a fortnight.

According to the sources, from a sample of ships, motor carriers Dream Diamond, Oregon Highway and Orion Leader are expected to offload a total of 2,670 motor vehicle units for the port position during this period.

According to the Kenya Ports Authority, of the 45 cruise ships that will be received at the Mombasa port, 26 ships are containers, 5 are general cargo, 3 are for cars, 2 are for bulk wheat, 2 are for bulk fertilizer, 1 is for butane, 1 is for gas oil, 1 for bulk coal, 1 for bitumen and 1 for bulk iron ore fines.
