According to Environment Canada, heavy rain will continue today

Heavy rains can cause flash flooding and water accumulation on roads; be wary of washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts

Niagara, Ont.

Special weather warning remains valid for:
Stratford – Mitchell – South Perth County, Ont.

Current information:
There is still a lot of rain today.

Danger: Total rainfall amounts of 30 to 40 mm. Locally higher quantities are possible during thunderstorms.

Timing: from this morning to early this afternoon.

Discussion:
Rain showers, sometimes heavy, are expected to continue this morning in parts of southwestern Ontario. Embedded thunderstorms may produce locally higher amounts. Heavier showers will taper off early this afternoon, but scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms will persist throughout the afternoon and early evening.
