Bokaro: The bodies of a young couple, who had fled from their respective homes, were found hanging from a tree in Ghaghri forest near Barmasiya, Chandankyari on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Niten and Lakshmi. The girl was from Pundag, Purulia, West Bengal, while the boy was a local of Chandankyari. Lakshmi’s father told Barmasiya police that his daughter had been living with her maternal grandmother in Pundag, within the jurisdiction of Jaypur police station. He reported her missing complaint on May 5 and the incident was brought to the attention of Jaypur police.
