Azerbaijan and Cuba exchange views on the COP29 conference

The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Cuba, Ruslan Rzayev, held a meeting with Eduardo Martinez Dias, the Minister of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba, Azernieuws reports citing Azerbaijan’s embassy in Cuba.

The meeting discussed the long-standing friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba, expressing satisfaction over recent developments in bilateral relations.

The discussions also covered possible cooperation in the fields of science, technology and the environment, along with matters related to the upcoming 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Baku will take place.

The Cuban minister congratulated Azerbaijan for hosting COP29 and emphasized their willingness to support the country in this regard.

In addition, the meeting allowed for an exchange of views on various other topics of mutual interest.
