Franchise Altitude aims to help early-stage businesses in Bay County

PANAMA CITY BEACH − Scott Marr says his company’s goal is to give aspiring entrepreneurs “knowledge when starting a business from day 1.”

To this end, Marr has launched Franchise Altitude, based in Panama City, with the aim of providing select emerging franchisors with the necessary investment capital and guidance.

According to a press release from Franchise Altitude, Marr has a track record of building successful businesses for more than two decades. His entrepreneurial work experience includes founding Fleet Clean and Koala Insulation.

“What we do is support founders, franchise brands and companies by providing growth capital,” Marr said. “My background is mainly in services. So far we have been part of more than a dozen brands.”

Koala Insulation is one of the partners with whom Marr has worked and with which the company carries out work in the field of home installations and attic insulation. Franchise Altitude also has an investment with Cabinet IQ, a home service concept that helps with home appliances and countertops.

“We are a very broad and diverse company,” said Marr. “We work in many different categories, such as youth enrichment, food opportunities and personal health and wellness.

“We want to give entrepreneurs knowledge from day 1 when they start a business,” Marr said. “It will take trial and error to get where you want to be. Being involved with more than a dozen brands and having earned more than a billion dollars in business value has grown our company. Having experience creating brands, starting with growth capital has been key to our success.”
