International Day — The | Corsair

In a concerted effort to build a bridge of community among the students of Santa Monica College (SMC), the Associated Students organized International Day. On May 16, students met in the cafeteria on SMC’s main campus from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event was limited to 30 countries and students were encouraged to apply and represent a country of their choice.

The event included a talent show, traditional and pop dancing, singing, a magic show and other entertainment. International Day aims to break down divisions, build unity and promote cultural appreciation as students get through the last few weeks of school.
